Olivia is a Brooklyn based dancer and yoga instructor. She grew up dancing in her hometown of Torrington, CT and went on to graduate high school from The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts in 2014. Olivia received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in May of 2018. There she performed in works by Jesse Zaritt, Sidra Bell, Nora Gison, Gary Jeter and Helen Simoneau. Olivia spent her spring semester of 2017 studying dance at the Accademia dell’ Arte in Arezzo, Italy where she worked with EnKnap Group of Ljubjliana, Slovenia, Massimo Gerardi, and Carolina and Fabritzio Basagni. She spent her winter break of 2018 dancing in France and Belgium under the direction of UArts faculty members Katie Swords and Douglas Becker. Here she worked with Clinton Stringer, Daniel Condamine, Karin Guizzo, Dominique Duszynsky, Moya Michael, and Gala Moody. In June 2017, Olivia received her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from Kripalu School of Yoga in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Olivia has danced in works by Beth Jucovy, Keith Reeves, and Chiemi Ip. Olivia now works as a yoga and dance teacher throughout Brooklyn and dances professionally with Dance Visions NY.
